Re-entry Scholarship Application Information

The University Women of Cambria is pleased to offer a need-based scholarship for  Individuals who

are resuming their academic pursuits after having taken time-off from post high school education.

The applicant must be a resident of Cambria or San Simeon who is pursuing a local educational

program after a break of at least two years.

 

The applicant must have completed high school or obtained

an equivalency and been accepted to Cuesta College or a post high school training program.

 

The scholarship will be based, in part, on financial need. The application asks for a description of

financial need and any other unusual circumstances which may impact the committee’s decision.

 

As part of the application packet, the applicant must provide a personal statement which addresses

the questions included in the packet, and one written recommendation from a person who is familiar

with recent academic or employment experiences. The interview will occur in Cambria or on

Zoom depending on health protocols. The application can be submitted online, see link below.
